***Friends of the Franklin Library Annual Meeting Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 7:00pm at the Franklin Public Library***

Friends Always Welcome! Friends of the Franklin Library is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting the Franklin Public Library. As we wrap up our current fiscal year on June 30, 2024, and plan for next fiscal year, we invite interested community members and library lovers to become Friends.

Our next Board of Directors Meeting is on Wednesday, May 1st at 7:00pm and our Annual Meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 5th at 7:00pm at the library. At the Annual Meeting, we will nominate and vote on new members for our Board of Directors. If you cannot make either of these meetings but would like to learn more about getting involved with the Friends, please email fofl02038@gmail.com for more information.

Franklin Library Association Books Available. Do you or someone you know love reading about local history? If so, we have the perfect book for you: The Franklin Library Association: Building the Future of the Nation’s First Public Library 1858-2022. This book tells the story of the Franklin Library Association, which managed and funded the Franklin Public Library for more than a century, including the books given to the town by its namesake, Benjamin Franklin.
